Yesterday we had our forest session for ‘The Heart’ programme at Kings Heath Primary Academy.  The children were amazing and got to enjoy learning lots of new skills.
Activities such as den building and crafting woodland animals from cutting their own fruit, were all designed to support the children in developing their knowledge of shapes and allowed them to experiment with 3D shape construction. Activities also allowed us to improve fine and gross motor skills, whilst building upon self esteem. There were some magical examples of improvisation, imagination and team work.
So much fun and mischief was had.
